Even though it's rather cold and dark the nature wants to wake up !

Usually I add pictures that are taken the same day. This one was taken Sunday so now it feels like I have fallen out of the rhythm. One experience from last week will remain with me forever though. It's when you see a moment unfold with-out being able to capture it with any kind of equipment but your own eyes. So - sometimes a picture not taken is more important and valuable then an attempt to take one. I have more certainly thought more about it what I saw then if I had it in my camera and computer.

Finally the weather has obliged us mere occupants of United Kingdom with some much awaited sun - although partial. Therefore with some time in my hands I was able to yet again walk the streets of Manchester which culminated with one of the inhabitants publicly announce to "Fuck off with the camera". Without loosing any time trying to inform her of my civil duties as a human being to capture and record the life of now and here I returned to my deeds to yet again assure you that the city is alive even in these dreadful January winter days !

As you may know - maybe 0.05% of businesses are working during Christmas. So today - the 25th of December I decided to go for a walk in town. First it was the supposedly always busy Curry Mile. From there I had a slight suspicion that the centre was going to be empty. And so it was. Very eerie. I usually enjoy shooting street pics when it's busy and has certain energy. Today, Manchester only played a single layer of sound track once in a while from the usual multiple one all at once. silence, absolute silence and then a homeless guy shouts - "Spare some change please !" out of nowhere with a very distinct and soul-crashing voice.
(p.s. pigeons are great models when people are not around)
